Overview

  • Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a $1.5 billion licensing agreement granting Paramount+ exclusive streaming rights to South Park and committing to 50 new episodes through 2030.
  • Episode 3 of Season 27 premiered August 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, continuing the weekly Wednesday night broadcast on Comedy Central.
  • New installments are available on Paramount+ the day after airing via a seven-day free trial, while live broadcasts can be accessed through trial subscriptions to Philo, DirecTV, Fubo, Walmart Plus and Sling TV.
  • Season 27 preserves its rapid-fire political satire in the first three episodes, targeting figures such as President Trump, JD Vance, Kristi Noem and ICE.
  • Episode 4 is slated for August 13 on Comedy Central and will follow the same next-day Paramount+ streaming model under the merged Comedy Central–Paramount Global distribution plan.
