South Carolina to Retire A'ja Wilson's Iconic No. 22 Jersey

The Gamecocks will honor their legendary player with a jersey retirement ceremony on February 2, 2025, at Colonial Life Arena.

A'ja Wilson, South Carolina's all-time leading scorer, will have her No. 22 jersey retired by the university.
The ceremony will take place on February 2, 2025, before a game against Auburn at Colonial Life Arena.
Wilson led South Carolina to its first national title in 2017 and was the consensus National Player of the Year in 2018.
She is a three-time WNBA MVP, two-time WNBA champion, and two-time Olympic gold medalist.
A statue of Wilson was erected outside Colonial Life Arena in 2021, celebrating her impact on the program.
