South Carolina Teen Mom Dies After Bird Crashes Into Windshield

Abbigail Callaham, 17, was killed in a car accident caused by a bird collision, leaving her boyfriend critically injured.

Abbigail ‘Grace’ Callaham, a 17-year-old mother, died after a bird flew into the windshield of the truck she was in.
The accident occurred while Callaham and her boyfriend, Thomas Kennedy, were driving home from Belton-Honea Path High School.
Kennedy, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle, which then hit a tree; he is currently in critical condition.
Callaham was not wearing a seatbelt and died from multiple traumatic injuries at the scene.
The couple was en route to pick up their 4-month-old daughter from daycare at the time of the crash.
