Shane Beamer's new contract extension will pay him $8.15 million in 2025, with annual $100,000 raises through 2030.
The South Carolina board of trustees approved the extension following the team's 9-4 season and six consecutive regular-season wins.
Beamer, 47, has a 29-22 record over four seasons, the best start for any South Carolina coach, and was named SEC Coach of the Year by the Associated Press.
The deal includes a $5 million buyout if Beamer leaves in the first year, decreasing by $1 million annually.
