• Ganguly was confirmed at the Cricket Association of Bengal’s 94th AGM, with his full panel — Bablu Kolay, Madan Mohan Ghosh, Sanjay Das and Anu Dutta — also elected unopposed.
• His first assignment is preparing Eden Gardens for India’s Test against South Africa on November 14, the venue’s first Test since the 2019 pink-ball match.
