Sound of Freedom follows the real life story of Tim Ballard, who worked for the CIA and the Department of Homeland Security before forming the organization, Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), to combat child sex trafficking.
Despite poor ratings from critics, audiences gave the film a 99 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Globally, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour just outpaced Sound of Freedom by about $2 million, with the former film earning over $250 million worldwide and the latter film earning over $248 million across the globe.
