Sophie Turner Set to Play Lara Croft in Amazon's New Tomb Raider Series

Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, is reportedly in talks to portray Lara Croft in Amazon's upcoming live-action series.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge, acclaimed for her work on Fleabag, will write and executive produce the series, which aims to bring a game-accurate version of Lara Croft to life.
Turner would follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, who have previously portrayed the iconic archaeologist in film adaptations.
The series, announced in May 2024, is part of Amazon's broader plans to expand the Tomb Raider franchise, potentially linking it with a new film and video game.
