  • Her family announced on Dec. 10 that she died in London, posting a statement on her official Instagram account describing her final days as filled with warmth, music, Christmas and joy.
  • Born Madeleine Sophie Wickham, she disclosed in April 2024 that she had been diagnosed earlier with glioblastoma and had undergone surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
  • Her Shopaholic books sold more than 45 million copies worldwide and were translated into over 40 languages, reaching readers in more than 60 countries.
