Overview

  • Players who previously bought Resident Evil 2 or Resident Evil 3: Nemesis on PS3 or PS Vita can now claim the PS5 and PS4 versions at no extra cost, with no regional restrictions reported.
  • Those still prompted to pay are advised to contact Sony support or attempt the claim via the PlayStation mobile app.
  • Both classics are available through PS Plus Premium or as standalone purchases priced at approximately $9.99 / £7.99 each.
  • The new releases do not include Trophy support, reflected by the absence of lists on tracking sites like Exophase.
  • Capcom’s earlier PS1-era re-releases such as Resident Evil: Director’s Cut and Dino Crisis also lacked trophies, leaving prospects for a future patch uncertain.
