Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra Steps Down, Ravi Ahuja to Lead

Tony Vinciquerra will transition to an advisory role as Ravi Ahuja takes over as President and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment starting January 2025.

Ravi Ahuja, currently Chairman of Global Television Studios and President and COO, will succeed Vinciquerra as CEO.
Vinciquerra joined Sony in 2017 and led a significant turnaround, avoiding the streaming wars and focusing on content sales.
Ahuja has been with Sony since 2021 and has overseen major acquisitions and the integration of Crunchyroll.
Under Vinciquerra, Sony Pictures Entertainment saw five consecutive years of increasing profits and strategic divestments.
The transition is part of a planned succession strategy that has been in place for over two years.
