Sony Moves Keke Palmer and SZA Comedy 'One of Them Days' to MLK Weekend Release

The film follows two best friends and roommates navigating a chaotic day in Los Angeles after losing their rent money, with comedic twists along the way.
Directed by Lawrence Lamont and written by Syreeta Singleton, the film is produced by Issa Rae's Hoorae and features an ensemble cast including Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, and Katt Williams.
Sony's decision to move the release date aims to take advantage of the long weekend with 95% of colleges on break and no other comedies scheduled for the holiday window.
'One of Them Days' marks SZA's acting debut and originated from Sony's CoCre lab, a program focused on developing projects by emerging, diverse screenwriters.
