Sony Introduces PS5 and Accessories Rental Service in the UK

The program offers flexible monthly plans through leasing firm Raylo, allowing players to rent consoles and accessories without upfront costs.

Sony has partnered with leasing company Raylo to launch a PS5 rental service in the UK through the PlayStation Direct website.
Players can rent PS5 models, including the Digital Edition, Standard Edition, and PS5 Pro, as well as accessories like the PSVR2, PS Portal, and DualSense Edge controller.
Rental plans are available on rolling monthly contracts or fixed 12-, 24-, or 36-month terms, with longer commitments offering lower monthly fees.
At the end of the lease, customers can return the device, continue renting, or explore options to purchase the hardware outright, though monthly payments do not contribute to ownership.
While the service provides an affordable entry point for those unable to pay upfront, long-term rentals may cost more than purchasing the products outright.
