Sony India Unveils BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and Bar 6 for Early July Release

By combining Dolby Atmos with AI-enhanced dialogue clarity and recycled materials, they strengthen Sony’s bid to capture half of India’s growing soundbar market.

  • The BRAVIA Theatre System 6 delivers 5.1-channel, 1000W output with wireless rear speakers and a dedicated subwoofer, while the Bar 6 offers a 3.1.2-channel soundbar with up-firing drivers and a wireless bass module.
  • Both models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and are powered by Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine, S-Force PRO Front Surround and Voice Zoom 3 technology for clearer vocals.
  • The Bar 6 is priced at ₹39,990 from July 1 and the System 6 at ₹49,990 from July 3, available through Sony retail outlets, major electronics stores and online platforms.
  • Sony engineers tuned the audio profiles for Indian preferences to deliver deeper bass and more distinct dialogue.
  • Each device incorporates recycled PET fabric and reduced plastic packaging in line with Sony’s sustainability commitments.
