Sony Confirms Writing Underway for God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn TV Adaptations

Prime Video and Netflix to host the shows, with premieres not expected until 2025.

Sony has confirmed that writing has begun on the TV adaptations of popular gaming franchises God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn.
God of War, being developed for Prime Video, will be helmed by Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Time) and will directly adapt the 2018 God of War game.
Horizon Zero Dawn, heading to Netflix, has Steve Blackman (The Umbrella Academy) as its showrunner and will feature Aloy as a main character.
Both shows are not expected to premiere until at least 2025.
Sony Pictures Television president Katherine Pope made the announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show.
