Sony Celebrates God of War's 20th Anniversary With New Merchandise and Free DLC

The milestone celebration includes a retrospective book set, a vinyl soundtrack collection, and a cosmetic update for God of War Ragnarök.

Sony is marking the 20th anniversary of the God of War franchise with a range of new merchandise, in-game content, and events starting March 20, 2025.
A two-volume retrospective book set, published by Dark Horse, chronicles the franchise's Greek and Norse eras with behind-the-scenes insights and exclusive artwork, releasing July 8 in standard and deluxe editions.
The Dark Odyssey Collection, a free cosmetic DLC for God of War Ragnarök, will launch on March 20, adding black-and-gold-themed armor, weapon appearances, and shield designs inspired by earlier games in the series.
A 13-disc limited edition vinyl set featuring soundtracks from the entire series, as well as individual vinyls for the original trilogy, will be available for preorder starting March 20.
Additional anniversary items include art prints, a plush Jormungandr figure, a t-shirt collection, and a fan kit with banners and avatars, alongside discounts on God of War games across PlayStation and PC platforms.
