Sony Appoints Hermen Hulst and Hideaki Nishino as Dual PlayStation CEOs

The new leadership structure aims to deepen user engagement and expand PlayStation experiences.

Hermen Hulst will lead the Studio Business Group, focusing on first-party content and IP development.
Hideaki Nishino will oversee the Platform Business Group, managing technology, products, and third-party relations.
Both CEOs will report to Hiroki Totoki, who will continue as Chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The leadership change follows Jim Ryan's retirement and a period of layoffs and restructuring at PlayStation.
Sony plans to unveil its long-term vision for the gaming division later this month.
