  • Sony went all out with their marketing for the release of their new game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PS5, creating a moving mural on The Sphere in Las Vegas, which helped the game set new sales records.
  • Microsoft also used The Sphere for its Xbox marketing campaign, showcasing 3D images of Xbox controllers flying out of the building. This is part of their holiday marketing campaign, which also includes a live-action trailer.
  • Both Sony and Microsoft may have spent up to $450,000 to run their marketing campaigns on The Sphere, showing the scale of their advertising efforts.
  • Sony and Microsoft’s campaign coincided with Twitchcon, a notable gaming event, which was held in Las Vegas, offering the companies a larger, targeted audience.
