Sonia Gandhi Discharged From Delhi Hospital After Routine Observation

The Congress leader, admitted for abdomen-related issues, is in stable condition and under the care of specialists.

Sonia Gandhi, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson, was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Thursday morning due to abdomen-related issues.
Doctors confirmed there was no major concern, and she underwent a routine check-up under the care of gastroenterology specialist Dr. Samiran Nundy.
The 78-year-old leader was discharged from the hospital on Friday after being deemed stable by the medical team.
Her last public appearance was during the Rajya Sabha Budget session on February 13, where she raised concerns about delays in conducting the national census.
Gandhi highlighted the impact of outdated census data on the implementation of the National Food Security Act, which she described as a critical initiative for vulnerable households.
