- Raja and Sonam Raghuvanshi went missing on May 23 after checking out of a Nongriat homestay and Raja’s body was recovered on June 2 in a gorge beneath Weisawdong Falls with fatal injuries.
- Meghalaya DGP Idashisha Nongrang said three men—two from Indore and one from Uttar Pradesh—have confessed to being hired by Sonam to carry out her husband’s killing.
