  • Meghalaya DGP Idashisha Nongrang said three men—two from Indore and one from Uttar Pradesh—have confessed to being hired by Sonam to carry out her husband’s killing.
  • Sonam surrendered at the Nandganj police station in Ghazipur on June 8 and was taken into custody by a joint team from Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
