Son of Ex-Red Sox Star Kills 8-Year-Old Son in Murder-Suicide, Linked to Missing Mother

George Scott III allegedly killed his 8-year-old son Dante before committing suicide in their Massachusetts home.
Scott III was considered a "person of interest" in the disappearance of Dante's mother, Lisa Hazard, who has been missing since March 2019.
Police discovered the bodies after a relative couldn't contact Scott III and requested a wellness check.
Scott III is the son of former Red Sox first baseman George Scott, who played for the team in the 1960s and 70s.
Lisa Hazard's family believes Scott III was also responsible for her disappearance in order to avoid charges.
