SoftBank partners with Symbotic on $7.5B AI warehouse joint venture

SoftBank formed a new warehouse automation joint venture with Symbotic called GreenBox Systems.
SoftBank will own a majority stake in GreenBox and buy $7.5B of Symbotic's AI warehouse tech.
The deal continues SoftBank's push into robotics, automation and AI.
Symbotic's systems help companies like Walmart fulfill orders faster and more efficiently.
GreenBox aims to offer "warehouse-as-a-service" to help companies expand operations.
