• Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month are scheduled to receive October payments on Wednesday, Oct. 15, per the SSA calendar.
• The SSA has begun phasing out paper checks, requiring most recipients to use direct deposit or a Direct Express card under a policy change stemming from a March executive order.
• SSI recipients will receive the November installment on Friday, Oct. 31, because Nov. 1 falls on a weekend, which does not constitute a duplicate payment.
