Social Benefit Payouts: Mexico Confirms Sept. 16 Pause as Argentina Applies September Raise, Awaits October Index

  • Mexico’s Secretaría del Bienestar will not disperse funds on Tuesday, Sept. 16 due to the national holiday, with payments resuming Wednesday, Sept. 17 and the Sept. 1–25 alphabetized calendar unchanged.
  • Bienestar deposits run to Banco del Bienestar cards only and cover the Sept.–Oct. bimester: Adultos Mayores $6,200, Discapacidad $3,200, Mujeres Bienestar $3,000, and Niñas y Niños $1,650.
  • New Mujeres Bienestar registrants will receive Banco del Bienestar cards from Oct. 1–31, enabling their first $3,000 bimonthly payment in November.
  • Argentina’s ANSES applied a 1.9% inflation-linked increase for September and continues the $70,000 reinforcement, setting the minimum at $320,277.18 ($390,277.18 with bonus) and the PNC por Invalidez at $224,194.02 ($294,194.02 with bonus).
  • ANSES is paying September benefits on a DNI-based calendar (Sept. 8–26), and the October mobility update will be determined by INDEC’s August CPI, with market surveys projecting about 2.1%.
