Overview

  • Coolmore Australia announced the death on Monday, saying the 10-time Group 1 winner died after a short illness while under care at Scone Equine Hospital.
  • So You Think captured back-to-back Cox Plates in 2009 and 2010 and was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame in 2019.
  • Retired to stud in 2012, he became a consistent top-10 sire with 66 stakes winners, including 12 at Group 1 level.
  • His progeny include 2023 The Everest winner Think About It and multiple Group 1 winner Think It Over.
  • The announcement comes days before the Cox Plate and follows other Coolmore losses, including Fastnet Rock and Wootton Bassett.
