  • Half-siblings Yasmim de Morais Brito, 4 years and 4 months, and Gael da Silva, 4 years and 11 months, drowned during a family gathering at a rented chácara in Dracena, São Paulo.
  • A passerby performed resuscitation attempts before relatives drove the children toward medical care, and firefighters assumed the response on the way.
  • Both children were pronounced dead at the Pronto Atendimento Municipal de Dracena after efforts to revive them failed.
