Overview
- Schiphol warned on 2 January that winter weather was causing delays and cancellations for flights to and from Amsterdam.
- KLM cancelled 32 UK flights and reported inbound delays of three hours or more from regional airports including Bristol, Humberside, Leeds Bradford and Teesside.
- EasyJet grounded at least 16 UK–Amsterdam services and British Airways also cancelled flights, with further cuts by Air France, Austrian Airlines, Finnair, Lufthansa, SAS and Swiss.
- Two early inbound services diverted to Brussels, including a KLM flight from Seoul and a TUI flight from Cape Verde.
- Manchester Airport reported multiple disruptions, including cancelled departures U22163, KL1032 and KL1034 to Amsterdam and EI45 to New York, alongside a broader list of delays.
