Snopes Reverses Ruling: Biden Did Wear Hard Hat Backwards

Fact-checking site Snopes reversed its initial ruling that President Biden did not wear a hard hat backwards during a photo op with construction workers in Wisconsin.
The photo, posted by Sen. Amy Klobuchar, showed Biden with the hard hat's strap and tightening knob on his forehead, which is typically at the back of the head.
Snopes initially claimed that the hat was facing forward, but later admitted that if the hat's suspension was purposely configured to have the bill and tightening knob at the back, wearing it with the bill forward is, in effect, wearing it backwards.
The photo of Biden wearing the hard hat backwards has been viewed over 2.4 million times.
Snopes thanked those who argued for the correction, acknowledging that the claim of Biden wearing the hard hat backwards was true.
