Snoop Dogg Eliminates Standout Contestant After Whitney Houston Cover on 'The Voice'

Aliyah Khaylyn's powerful rendition of 'I Have Nothing' earned praise from judges but wasn't enough to secure her spot in the live shows.

Aliyah Khaylyn, a 23-year-old Philadelphia native, delivered a stunning performance of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' during 'The Voice' Playoffs.
Judges, including Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire, were highly impressed, with Stefani calling it a jaw-dropping performance and McEntire praising Khaylyn's vocal talent.
Despite her standout performance, Snoop Dogg, her coach, made the difficult decision to eliminate Khaylyn, advancing two other contestants, Jeremy Beloate and Christina Eagle, to the live shows.
Snoop worked with guest mentor Simone Biles to guide his team, emphasizing resilience and self-belief in their preparation for the Playoffs.
Other contestants eliminated during the Playoffs included Austyns Stancil and Mikaela Ayira from Team Snoop, as well as several members of Team McEntire.
