US FDA Recalls Frozen Spinach Over Listeria Contamination Risk
Sno Pac Foods is recalling some frozen spinach products over possible listeria contamination.

Overview

  • Two items are affected: Del Mar 35 lb Bulk Organic Frozen Spinach and Sno Pac 10 oz Organic Frozen Cut Spinach, per the FDA notice.
  • The recall targets specific lots with dates through 2027, including 35 lb codes 250107A–D, 2501071, 2501073 and 10 oz codes SPM1.190.5, SPC1.160.5, SPC2.160.5, SPM1.097.5.
  • The products were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through distributors, and Sno Pac has suspended production during its investigation.
  • No illnesses have been linked to these lots to date, though listeria poses greater risk to pregnant people, newborns, older adults and those with weakened immune systems.
