- Saturday Night Live finalized its year-end slate: Dec. 6 (Melissa McCarthy/Dijon), Dec. 13 (Josh O’Connor/Lily Allen) and Dec. 20 (Ariana Grande/Cher).
- Ariana Grande will host for the third time on Dec. 20, aligning with the Nov. 21 theatrical release of Wicked: For Good.
- Cher will be the musical guest on the Dec. 20 Christmas episode, marking her first SNL musical-guest appearance since 1987 after performing in this year’s SNL50 events.
