Overview
- Reservations open on 12 November for trips from 8 January to 29 March 2026 across TGV INOUI, OUIGO and Intercités.
- An experiment extends booking up to six months ahead on direct TGV INOUI services in the South‑East, with tickets available through 3 July 2026 for about thirty destinations including Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Annecy, Dijon and Grenoble.
- For the five school‑holiday weekends, 850 TGV INOUI will serve mountain routes, with roughly 16,000 additional seats from extra direct trains and doubled trainsets, including more Paris–Tarentaise services.
- OUIGO will run a daily Paris–Bourg‑Saint‑Maurice return from 18 December 2025 to 29 March 2026 from €19, and OUIGO tickets have been on sale since 5 November with a 60‑day booking window and journeys already available through 3 July 2026.
- SNCF also points to Intercités links to the Massif Central, the Alps and the Pyrenees, and the launch comes against new competition as Trenitalia starts four daily Paris–Marseille round trips on 14 December.
