Overview

  • Evan Spiegel revealed at the Augmented World Expo that the next-generation Specs will arrive in 2026 with a smaller, lighter design and enhanced AR performance.
  • The new glasses will integrate OpenAI and Google’s Gemini AI models to deliver on-the-fly text translation and real-time virtual assistance.
  • Snap is rolling out developer tools including a Snap3D API for generative 3D objects, a Depth Module AI for 3D mapping and a Fleet Management app for remote monitoring.
