At 4,906 mm long on a 2,926 mm wheelbase, the fastback is Smart’s largest model to date, comparable in footprint to a Toyota Camry or Mercedes E-Class.
Technical reporting diverges: one account lists a 1.5-litre turbo engine with a 268 hp front motor, while others cite Geely’s NordThor Hybrid 2.0 with a 120 kW engine, 200 kW motor and roughly 320 kW combined output.
Electric-only range claims vary by source and test cycle, from about 285 km on the CLTC to reports aligned with the #5’s larger 41 kWh battery and roughly 157 miles in EV mode.
Images suggest available advanced driver-assistance hardware such as a roof-mounted lidar and fender cameras, and no interior photography has been released.
