Small plane crashes into New Mexico home, killing pilot

A twin-engine Cessna 310 aircraft crashed into a Santa Fe home around 9:05 a.m. local time.
The pilot died in the crash that caused the home to catch fire.
The plane was heading to Santa Monica, California but failed to take off due to issues with its left engine.
State Police, the FAA, and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
Preliminary findings from the investigations are expected Wednesday.
