Small Plane Crash Near Myrtle Beach Resort Kills One, Injures Others

A single-engine Piper PA-32 crashed northwest of Grand Strand Airport, killing one person and injuring a woman who was taken to the hospital.
The crash occurred around 11 a.m. near North Myrtle Beach's Barefoot Resort and the plane was found engulfed in flames.
Four people were on board the plane and one woman was injured and taken to the hospital.
The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash to determine the cause of the crash.
The area around the crash will be closed for two days during the ongoing investigation.
