Overview

• A colleague discovered a fire in an electrical extractor fan inside a Forbidden Valley toilet at about 3pm on August 11.
• Park staff extinguished the flames within minutes and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue crews then ventilated and secured the site.
• Forbidden Valley was evacuated for around an hour, forcing temporary closures of Nemesis Reborn, Galactica and adjacent attractions.
• No injuries were reported and other areas of the theme park remained open throughout the incident.
• Visitors reported visible smoke, confusion and queue delays on social media but commended the swift response.
