Small Earthquake Shakes New Jersey, No Damage Reported

A magnitude 2.9 earthquake struck near Gladstone early Friday, following last month's larger tremor.

The earthquake occurred at 3:50 a.m. with an epicenter 3.7 miles west-southwest of Gladstone.
Over 700 people reported feeling the quake, describing the shaking as moderate with very light damage.
This tremor is one of several aftershocks since the 4.8 magnitude earthquake on April 5.
Light shaking was felt as far as Sussex, Passaic, Trenton, and Staten Island.
No immediate reports of damage have been made, according to officials.
