• From January 2026, ‘Syns’ will be replaced by Swips, short for Slimming World Individual Picks.
• Healthy Extras will introduce a formal healthy fats choice, including options such as avocado, nut butters, seeds and oils.
• Website and app updates are scheduled for mid-December, with new printed member books from December 26 ahead of the January rollout.
• The terms Body Magic and IMAGE Therapy will be retired in favor of plainer references to an active lifestyle programme and a support system, alongside a new logo.
• Slimming World says the changes follow reviews by its Nutrition, Research and Health Department and linguistics specialists, while keeping the core Free Foods structure with no banned foods.
