Slack outage resolved after 65 minutes of disruption

Slack experienced an outage starting around 5AM ET Thursday, with users unable to send messages.
The issues peaked around 5:30AM ET, with around 5,000 users reporting problems.
Slack said the outage was due to an internal systems change, and service was restored by 6:13AM ET.
During the outage, users turned to Twitter to report issues and some messages got through inconsistently via mobile.
Slack acknowledged the outage and said users should reload apps once restored.
