Skywell Enters European EV Market with New Q Hatchback

Chinese electronics brand Skywell, known for affordable TVs, unveils its competitively priced electric vehicle at the Paris Auto Show.

Skywell, also known as Skyworth, showcased its new Q hatchback at the 2024 Paris Auto Show, marking its entry into the European electric vehicle market.
The Skywell Q is positioned to compete with models like the VW ID.3, Cupra Born, and BYD Dolphin, offering a range of over 300 miles with its larger battery option.
The vehicle features advanced technology including a 15.6-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, and autonomous braking, with a quick 0-62mph acceleration in 3.9 seconds.
Skywell has previously launched the BE11 midsize electric SUV in the UK and Israel, and plans to sell the Q in Europe starting in 2025.
Despite its roots in consumer electronics, Skywell aims to challenge established EV manufacturers by focusing on affordability and competitive specs.
