Overview
- Skybus will begin with one daily flight, operating mornings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays and late afternoons on other days.
- A second weekday service is scheduled to be added from 14 February 2026, expanding the timetable to twice daily on weekdays.
- The route will use around 70-seat aircraft, with an end-to-end journey time set at two hours.
- Subsidised one-way fares start at £80 including a 15kg checked bag, and Skybus aims to offer same-ticket London–Isles of Scilly connections by February 2026.
- Eastern Airways collapsed into administration with most of its roughly 330 staff made redundant, the CAA told passengers not to go to the airport, and the council is continuing the search for a long-term operator.
