‘Sky Force’ Becomes First 2025 Film to Cross ₹100 Crore in India

The Akshay Kumar-led aerial action thriller sees a strong second weekend, earning praise for its storytelling and tribute to a war hero.

‘Sky Force’ achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first film of 2025 to enter the ₹100 crore club in India, with a total domestic net collection of ₹100.07 crore as of Sunday, February 2.
The film experienced a notable resurgence in its second weekend, with earnings increasing from ₹3 crore on Friday to ₹5.57 crore on Sunday, showing strong audience interest after a slow start to the weekend.
Worldwide, the film has grossed ₹122.25 crore, including ₹112.75 crore from India and ₹9.5 crore from overseas markets.
Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, ‘Sky Force’ pays homage to Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, the only Indian Air Force officer posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra.
Produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films, the movie stars Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur, and has been praised for its aerial combat sequences and emotional depth.
