Overview

  • The LK130 is based on the Superb Combi plug-in hybrid and was converted by 28 students collaborating with Skoda engineers
  • Engineers and students spent over 2,000 man-hours reshaping the B- and C-pillars and removing the rear section to create the pickup bed
  • A custom dual-level bicycle carrier on the load bed and roof features an electric lift system to angle bikes for compact storage
  • A passenger-side rear door swings outward and slides back to reveal a single seat within space for a cooler plus an external speaker kit
  • The one-off vehicle will make its public debut during the 112th Tour de France next month and is not slated for series production
