Overview
- Skoda has begun Australian sales of the Elroq in two trims — Select at $54,990 and 130 Edition at $64,990 plus on-road costs — both using the large ‘85’ battery with 77.0kWh usable capacity and a claimed 529km WLTP range.
- Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the Elroq uses a 210kW/545Nm rear motor for a 0–100km/h claim of 6.6 seconds; all-wheel drive is not offered at launch, with a dual-motor Elroq RS planned later.
- Skoda lists charging at up to 175kW DC (11kW AC) with a 10–80% charge time claim of 28 minutes and provides a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty.
- In the UK, GB News reports the Elroq and Enyaq are eligible for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, and Toyota is advertising an additional £3,750 saving on the bZ4X through September 30.
- Skoda Australia detailed new purchasing options including Guaranteed Future Value and novated leasing, with example weekly payments from about $171 for the Elroq.
