Skoda Adds 85x All-Wheel Drive Option to Elroq and Reintroduces It for Enyaq

The move gives buyers an AWD choice below the RS performance models.

Overview

  • Both SUVs use a dual‑motor setup with a 77 kWh (net) battery and retain a quoted 210 kW system output, with the Elroq 85x sprinting to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and reaching 180 km/h.
  • Pricing in Germany starts at €46,450 for the Elroq 85x and €51,500 for the Enyaq 85x, representing premiums of about €2,270 and €2,600 over comparable rear‑wheel‑drive variants.
  • Skoda quotes up to 175 kW DC fast charging for the 77 kWh pack with a 10–80% time of about 28 minutes, compared with 135 kW peak charging in the Elroq 85 rear‑drive model.
  • WLTP range is listed at up to roughly 540 km for the Elroq 85x and 544 km for the Enyaq 85x, with the Enyaq Coupé 85x rated up to 663 km.
  • The 79 kWh battery with up to 185 kW charging remains exclusive to the 250 kW Elroq RS, which continues as the higher‑performance alternative.
