Ski Lift Collapse at Spanish Resort Injures Dozens, Leaves Many Stranded

Approximately 80 skiers were left stranded on the malfunctioning chairlift, with emergency crews using helicopters to carry out rescues.
Witnesses described the incident as a cable losing tension, causing chairs to bounce and passengers to fall up to 15 meters to the ground.
Officials have not yet determined the cause of the collapse, but preliminary reports suggest a failure in the ski lift's return pulley system.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez expressed shock over the incident and offered government support to the injured and their families.
