Skate Season 1 ‘Hesh & Fresh’ Starts Oct. 7 With New Areas, Events and Battle Pass

The early access reboot adopts a seasons model centered on battle pass progression with timed events.

Overview

  • Season 1 runs from October 7 to December 2 in the free early access release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
  • The update expands San Vansterdam with fresh skateable spots and seasonal decor at locations such as The Orb and The Skateway.
  • Two limited-time events are scheduled: Skate-o-Ween from October 21 to November 11 and the 7-Ply Maple Harvest from November 18 to December 2.
  • Players get 40 weekly rotating Challenges plus new daily, weekly, seasonal and event Tasks that award Tix to progress the skate. Pass with free and premium tracks.
  • A lighting overhaul aims for a less high-contrast, more lived-in look, while 21 new ’90s tracks and brands like Santa Cruz, Independent and Creature join the season.
