Overview

• Houston police recovered a woman's body early Friday near Commerce and Milam streets by the University of Houston–Downtown, and investigators say there is no indication it is connected to other recent cases.
• The discovery follows five separate recoveries from Sept. 15–20 in Brays, Greens, White Oak and Buffalo bayous that prompted public concern and online speculation.
