Overview
- A speeding SUV rammed a parked truck near Titawi in Muzaffarnagar around 5:30 a.m., killing six people, including five members of one family from Faridpur in Karnal.
- The victims were traveling to Haridwar to immerse a relative’s ashes; the driver also died and passenger Hardik sustained serious injuries and was referred after initial treatment at Baghra CHC.
- In Panchkula, an overloaded Mahindra pick-up carrying devotees returning from Mansa Devi Temple overturned near the Old Panchkula light point, causing one death and about 30 injuries.
