Six From Same Family Killed in Head-On Crash on PR-170 in Rolândia, Paraná

Overview

• The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. as the family returned from a beach trip and was about 30 minutes from their home in Florestópolis.
• The victims were identified as Alexandre Cordeiro and Adriana da Silva Souza Cordeiro, their children Miguel de Souza Cordeiro and 10-month-old twin babies, and their nephew Elano Gabriel de Oliveira.
• All six died at the scene after their car struck a truck head-on near the São Martinho district of Rolândia.
• The truck was carrying day-old chicks from Birigui to Mandaguari, its passenger was uninjured, and the driver was taken to a hospital.
• Bodies were transferred to the Instituto Médico-Legal in Londrina and the highway was partially closed during the emergency response.
